All these Siberian Huskies have found new loving homes. Point to a photo for a breif story.

Now here is a happy family! Kaya woooed her way into the hearts of the Perry family where she found her forever home. Loki and the Montgomery's are now a happy family together.  Loki was a stray. Togo came from Alaska as one of two unwanted pups and warmed his way into our foster homes heart where he will stay forever. Kuma found himself abandoned in a garage and heartworm postitive when his previous family lost their home in a foreclosure.  Kuma now has a home where his gentle nature is appreciated and he has become a valuable member of the family. Kiani loves to play with her new beagle sister. Coco is now called Sadie and finds herself in a secure home where she will not end up on the streets again. Fire is very happy with Jimmy and gets lots of walks on the beach and in parks.  She is happy again. BJ's new home finds him a joy to have around.  BJ was left at a vet office with a note prior to coming rescue.  This will happen no more for this beautiful dog. Baltec was not wanted by his family who decided to leave him at the shelter on his third escape.  Tammy now has Baltec and has made him a part of a recereational sled team and he loves it. Angel had her one guardian with rescue.  She was treated from heartworms and then found a new home where her care will be proper from now on. From stray to home, Zak has made a great addtion to the Ward family.  He is loved dearly. Kodiak finds a new home The Fox family adds a new member with Nicki. Maggie finds a new best friend with John.  Even with one eye lost to Galucoma, Maggie has lots of love to give. Frankie gets his wish a a forever home for the holidays.  He was a stray never claimed from the shelter. Sabrina was not enough for the Holt family so they added Max to their pack. Stacy found a new home for the new year.  Her first family gave her up when they moved.  She now has a place to call home forever. From stray to stay, Salem finds a new home. Bella finds a new home.  She was a stray. Koatchee was turned into the shelter because he and his brother (another Siberian) would fight over food.  Now he is a member of a family who loves him dearly. So much love this boy gives in his new home.  Preston is now a full member of a family instead of looking for one. This little girl loves her new home where she is well cared for and has other dogs to play with. Rita and Nicki make a great pair.  Nicki has a forever home, Rita a forever friend. Macy was saved by a neighbor who noticed she was kept in a garage all day and the onwer was moving to France.  Macy loves her new family and husky friends and big yard. Zeena ended up in a shelter twice before the shelter gave her to rescue.  This Malamute was fostered by DVSHR until Malamute rescue found a home for her. Sir Lance O lot suffered a prostate infection and needed lots of special care before he could find his new home. Lou was found as a stray and had demodectic mange.  He is very very sweet and is loved by his family. Ice likes his new home and new doggy playmate.  His previous owner could no longer keep him but his new home looks forward to years of love. Found as a stray this loving girl was turned over to rescue.  She quickly found a new home and is doing well. This girl is a complete escape artist but has met her match in her new home who looks forward to years of fun long walks. This boy was given up because of allergies.  His new family were happy to bring him home to help fill the void of a recently lost pet. Zek found a home with his buddy Jada and is very happy. Jadafound a home with his buddy Zek and is very happy. Dakota was too much for the family while the wife was going through difficulties in pregnancy.  She now has a great home. Chinnok Minnie is now Kiska and has found a home with a new playmate and family to love her.  She is very happy and content in her new home. Shadow is another example of a pup with too much energy needing the right home with an owner to train him to mind his manners.  Shadow really just needed some direction in his life and he has that now. Shasha Nannook was an impulse buy by and person who had no place to keep him.  He now lives with a family who has lots of room and kids who love him. Max (as with Nanook) was an impulse buy by and person who had no place to keep him.  He now lives with a family and new doggy playmate. Blizzard Bowden was too much for the family to handel as a pup with a sesitive tummy.  He is adored in his new home and is doing well after rescue found the diet that works for him. Sheenu was turned to rescue when her owner has a stroke.  As a mix she was not having any luck finding a home until one of our volunteers decided to make her a permanent member of the family. Simon and ruby needed a home as soon as possible due to a move.  The family was blessed with a new family who loves both of them very much. Nikita was given up when her family had little time and she was showing signs of separation anxiety, she now has a doggy playmate and a new home with lots of love to give. Minerva was found as a stray and ended up becoming such a part of her foster home that she made it her forever home!. Mufassa found a loving home after her family could no longer keep her. Wiley was a stray with part of his tie out dragging behind him.  He now has a new home. Tyler was saved moments before his time was up and now has a great home with another playmate. Nikko was turned in by her family who found her to be too nervous around the toddler.  Nikko is now with her new family. The DVSHR placed Monk in a new home after his family decided they no longer could keep him. Priscilla was turned into rescue as an escape artist that later found herself hit by a car.  Priscilla found a new home with a family that will work to contain her with extra secure fencing. Ginger was too much for her family and was left tied outside with Boomer.  She now has a new home with a family who keeps her as a close member. Boomer like his sister ginger was too much for the family and needed a home.  He spent two year tied outside and now has a home where he is a close member of the family. Sky was running out of time and people interested in him.  He was placed in rescue and quickly found a home wiht a family who knows what surprises huskies can bring. After being called to active duty, Ohksannas owners had no where to turn.  She now has a great home and is doing well.  Ohksanna is a malamute. Teeku needed a new home when his owner was called for military duty.  Teeku has found a new home with a family who adores him and lets him relax on the sofa. Meeka (was Chloe) was found with a rope around her neck as a stray in PA and now has a new home and is spoiled rotten. Charlie was saved from certain fate by a family who now fosters and volunteers for the rescue.  Charlie likes to sing and has won awards for the most talkative at our rescue events. Frankie was found as a stray in Atlantic County New Jersey and cared for by Jack until he found a new home with a new family that loves him. Jack came from the shelter in Lancaster and now has a new great home and playmate. Brenda decided that Angel needed a playmate and adopted Jude.  These are now a happy family. Holly was turned into rescue after the father of the family died suddenly.  She has since been adopted by the Daileys who had also adopted Blue Dolly was a stray in the Philadelphia area and was great at escaping yards. She retains the talent as an escape artist but is carefully watched by her new family.  Despite all her antics, Dolly is truely loved in her new home. 'Rhiannon' has found more love than she ever knew.  Lorraine was thanked by Rhia on Thanksgiving with a 'Wooo Wooo'. Casper was turned into the shelter by a family who did not want to keep him.  Casper then found a new home with a family who had lost their pet to illness. Danielle keeps her new family on their toes.  She likes to play with her new doggy playmate but she also is an exceptional escape artist.  Dani has a 5 foot fence and an invisible fence combined to try to keep her contained. Saved from the shelter with minutes to spare, Alli was once a stray and now has a new home with Jason  Debo was placed through rescue after his family lost their house to a fire. Jenna was no longer wanted by her family but is very much loved by Tony and her new playmates Indy and Koby. Roxy was struck by a car before Christmas and was given the surgery she needed as a result of support from people like you.  Roxy now has a great new home. Frank is now called Kody and has given quite a challenge to the experienced owner in keeping within the yard.  The addition of an invisible fence with the regular fence has helped and Kody now stays safely at home. Jasmin has found a home with a family that loves to take her camping and she plays nicely with their daugher giving lots of licks. Wolfgang came from MAR Shelter as a stray and has since found a new home. Dakota keeps her mom real busy and has Kasey to keep him in line.  Dakota was turned into rescue at 10 weeks of age after his family found a siberian to be more more than expected. Ash was abused and unhappy until she found her new home through rescue. From stray to family member, Missy is very much loved now. Dixie was a stray sent to a shelter in Lancaster PA and later finds a home through the DVSHR, just missing a death sentance. From a owner that could not deal with siberian huskies to a family that loves her dearly, its Nikki. Blue placed into rescue after her owner died.  At age 7 with seizures she had little hope until the Daileys came along. Mo's family no longer had patience for him so he found a new family that dearly loves him. 'Angel' is howling happy with Brenda.  Angel was a stray turned into rescue. Morris have found a new family with Kim and Steve after being turned into the shelter as a stray in Philadelphia. Annie in her new home. Lucky was found in NJ after being hit by a car.  After an extensive recovery, Lucky found a great home with Monica and Chris where he is pampered and well cared for. Cato has made a great addition to this family.  He is very gentle with Sara and the family cats and has be a great jogging partner as well.  Cato came from a family whose onwer was very ill. The DVSHR found a home for Bandit through our referral services.  Bandit now runs on a sled with other siberians and is very happy. Igloo was to find a new home with a rescue family but her onwners missed her too much and wanted her back.  They worked out their problems with the allergies Andre and Jason have made a great family.  Andre is a Malamute that DVSHR placed to help another rescue. Singer found his way into the heart of his foster mom and has never left. Sheeba was no longer wanted by her owners and was turned over to rescue.  She found a friend for life with Ron. Lucy was turned into rescue from a neglect home life where the owner did not properly care for her and wanted her to just die. She is now loved very dearly by her new family. Darla was turned into the WHS shelter by a family who could not deal with a siberian husky.  After three attmpts by the shelter to find a good home, Darla ended up in rescue where she has since found a home with the Story's and is running on a sled team. Princess was turned into a rescue by a man who lost everthing due to drinking.  This dog has made a best friend with Ryan and is very happy. Togo was put in the WHS shelter as a stray and then found a new home where he loves to swim in the pool. Saki was too much for her family and had very little training so she was a bad puppy.  Kathy still has great stories about Saki being bad but will never give her up! Sophia, named because she was found on the Streets of Philadelphia, has now found a home with the Seymour's. Sasha was placed with her playmate Buddy after her owner developed severe asthma. Buddy was placed with her playmate Sasha after her owner developed severe asthma. This happy-go-lucky dog named Blue was tied to a junk car and left to die.  He has found a home where he will pull carts and play with other doggy friends. Good Luck Blue, we love you. Misty has found a new home with Maxine after she was found wandering a busy street shaved, dirty, and with a mild infection. Shadow came from a shelter and was so thin from an upset bowel you could almost count his ribs.  Shadow found a home in Ohio with Pat and Barb where he now has two doggy friends and a big fenced field to play in. Tiggy came from a home where she was abused.  When she was given to DVHSR, the poor girl was shaved and had little trust.  She has now found a home with Richie. Jasmine found a new family in Ohio after her current family could not spend time with her. Lolly is an 11 year old sweetie that found a home with April after her current family divorced and could no longer care for her. Rosie's family gave her to a shelter when they found out how much energy Siberian Huksies have.  Rosie has found a home with Kathy and has a doggie playmate. Sheba nipped at a toddler while recovering from Pyometra so her family gave her up.  She has since found a new home. Wiley's mom found living in the city and studying at school to be too much.  Wiley has found a new home. Siri was accused of killing livestock and had to be relocated.  He now has a new home where is a happy member of the family. Pudgie stayed with her mom in their new home, what a loving family Sky and her daughter Pudgie needed a home as a result of a divorce.  They have found a family that takes them out on a boat, what fun! Teeka was found with ticks all over her, she is a sweet dog and now has a very loving home where she will not run away and possibly be injured From a stray in Philadelphia to a very loving home, this boy found just what he needed with his new family! Bonzai was given up by his faimly.  This big boy really only wanted attention and now has just that with Kyle.  Thanks for saving Bonzai

These lucky dogs will be staying home with their families after some help from DVSHR volunteers. Point to any dog pictured to see a short story.

Girley was found as a stray while in heat.  She was cleaned up and returned when the owners were found.  We have provided them with help on how to contain her. When a home was found for Pepper, her family decided they could not part with her. Cody's family will be solving the fencing problems to keep her home with them. Bingo's family was able to move with her after all. Joey stays with his family after they decide losing him is worse than working out the problems! Keyser was too much for his family at first buy then they learned to love him and now he will stay with them forever (The kids were more work!)
